These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all sales of goods and services provided by Tech Pro Install LTD, including but not limited to Starlink installations, hardware supply, accessories compatible with Starlink systems and related installation services for both residential and commercial clients.
By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

We provide:
- Professional installation of Starlink systems and compatible hardware at residential and commercial premises.
- Supply of Starlink hardware, mounting equipment, networking components and accessories.
- Consultation, system setup and support services as agreed in writing.
- All services are carried out with reasonable care and skill in accordance with industry standards.
3. Orders and Quotations
- Quotations are valid for dates stated within your invoice unless otherwise stated.
- An order is accepted once confirmed in writing or once a deposit or payment is received.
- We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order prior to installation or dispatch for valid reasons (e.g. safety concerns, lack of stock, access issues and or delivery requirements).
4. Prices and Payment
- All prices are stated in GBP (£) and include VAT unless specified otherwise.
- Payment terms are as set out in your quotation or invoice.
- Installation slots will only be confirmed once payment terms are met.
- Late payments may incur interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
- Scheduled payment agreements: Any scheduled payments whereby a balance is due after service completion must be met and paid in full on completion.
- Invoice Close Out: Once the installation is complete, you will be notified of any overdue balances by email. You then have 48 hours to pay or respond with any issues regarding your installation or invoice. Beyond 48 hours, we will conveniently close out your invoice with the card on file.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
- You may cancel your order prior to installation or dispatch by notifying us in writing.
- A £50 - £109 administration fee may apply to cover time, processing and scheduling costs.
- Once installation has begun or hardware has been dispatched/unsealed, cancellations are subject to the provisions in Section 6 (Returns and Hardware Policy).
- If an order is cancelled and you have received hardware or if an order has already been processed and assigned a Starlink order number, the hardware must first be returned to us for inspection before any refund can be issued. Returned items must be unsealed, unused and in their original packaging. Once the returned hardware has been inspected and approved, your refund will be processed. Refunds typically take up to 10 working days to appear on your statement. If this period passes and funds have not cleared, please contact your bank directly for assistance.
- We will provide a detailed breakdown of any deductions before processing a refund.
6. Returns and Hardware Policy
- For hygiene, configuration, and warranty integrity, hardware that has been unsealed, used, or installed cannot be returned unless it is demonstrably faulty or damaged on arrival.
- Any returns must be authorised in writing.
- Returned goods must be in original packaging, unused and accompanied by proof of purchase.
- Faulty items will be inspected and where applicable, replaced or refunded in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- We accept no liability for loss or damage arising from improper installation by third parties or unauthorised modifications.
7. Planning Permission and Listed Buildings
It is the client's responsibility to ensure that all necessary planning permissions and where applicable, Listed Building Consents are obtained prior to installation.
For Grade II (or other listed) properties:
- Tech Pro Install cannot be held liable for any enforcement action or penalties arising from lack of required consent.
- If a local authority issues a Listed Building Enforcement Notice (LBEN) requiring removal of installed equipment, Tech Pro Install can be hired to assist the uninstallation process; however, such work will be chargeable at our standard rates.
- Clients are advised to consult their local planning department before installation.
8. Hardware Details
Starlink Standard Kit
- The Starlink kit supplied includes a 15-metre cable as standard.
- Longer cable where necessary is chargeable. Any cable length beyond 15 metres is additional and not included in the Starlink kit purchase price.
- Additional cable pricing is dependent on required length (e.g. 30m or 45m) and will be confirmed prior to installation or supply.
Mesh Systems and Point to Point
- Mesh system will cover the designated areas you have highlighted for your property. For the strongest signal we recommend 1 mesh per room. Mesh nodes purchased will be configured in areas of your choice if installation fee is paid.
- We supply mesh systems compatible with Starlink to enhance broadband coverage within homes or business premises.
- A mesh setup is connected wirelessly, designed to cover up to 6,000 square feet, depending on property layout and construction.
- The mesh system listed on your invoice refers solely to the purchase of access points.
- In properties with thick internal walls or other obstructions that reduce signal performance, the most effective remedy is hard-wiring of mesh access points.
- Should hard-wiring be required, the use of a network switch and additional cat6 cabling may be necessary. These items and associated labour are chargeable extras.
- Each hardwired connection (per device or access point) is billed separately to reflect additional materials, time, and labour required.
- Standard installation includes your designated technician connecting devices wirelessly, unless your written quotation explicitly includes hardwiring instructions.
Mount and pole pipe adapter
- The mount used on install is: chimney / wall / gable end or roof mount
- Should your roof type require a non-penetration mount, non-penetration mounts are not included within a standard install. This item would be itemised on your invoice and billed separately.
Rental Equipment
- Anytime we mention free kit or on your invoice the kit is marked as £0, this is a rental kit and must be returned if service is cancelled.
9. Installation Conditions
- Clients must provide safe and reasonable access to the premises.
- Installations may involve drilling, external mounting, and cable routing; you accept these works as necessary to deliver the agreed service.
- We will not be liable for minor cosmetic damage (e.g., small drill holes, paint flaking) reasonably incidental to installation.
- It is important to share full and accurate information of your property with Tech Pro Install specialists within your discovery consultation. Property size, thickness of walls, broadband purpose of use and users will influence chosen materials, hardware and system configuration for your installation.
- If access or site conditions differ materially from information provided, we reserve the right to adjust pricing or reschedule the installation.
10. Post-Installation Work and De-Installation
The invoice provided by Tech Pro Installs explicitly covers the supply and installation of the agreed equipment and associated installation services only.
Where the customer requests any de-cluttering, re-routing, removal or de-installation of hardware, cabling, mounts or materials installed by Tech Pro Installs after the completion of the original installation, such work is not included within the original cost and will be treated as a separate service.
Any request for post-installation work (including removal of existing equipment, reconfiguring, relocating, or de-installation) may be billable at our sole discretion. Charges will be based on the time, resources, materials and complexity of the tasks involved and will be agreed in advance with the Customer where practicable.
Tech Pro Installs is under no obligation to remove or uninstall installed equipment simply because the customer has changed their mind following installation. If the customer wishes to progress with removal or de-installation, the customer accepts that a separate charge will apply and acknowledges that such charges may include (without limitation) labour, travel, specialist equipment, safe disposal and any third-party costs incurred.
The customer acknowledges and agrees that equipment installed at the customer's premises remains the installation contractor's property until paid in full, except where title has transferred per the contract. Customers requesting removal may be charged disposal or storage fees as required by law.
11. Liability
- Our liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with our goods or services shall not exceed the total amount paid for those goods or services.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses including loss of profit, business interruption or data loss.
- We are not liable for delivery or dispatch delays caused by third-party suppliers, couriers or manufacturers. Orders are processed immediately upon receipt and while such circumstances are beyond our control, we will actively monitor your order status and assist wherever possible to minimise disruption.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence or any other liability which cannot be excluded under UK law.
12. Data Protection and Privacy
We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration number ZC009266.
We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- We only process personal data necessary to deliver our services and manage your account.
- You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your data.
- Full details are set out in our Privacy Policy.
- Any data shared with third parties (such as couriers or suppliers) is limited to what is necessary to fulfil your order.
13. Warranties
- Hardware warranties are provided by the respective manufacturer (e.g., Starlink).
- Installation workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion, excluding faults arising from misuse, environmental damage or unauthorised alteration.
- Any warranty claims must be made in writing with supporting evidence.
14. Force Majeure
We shall not be held liable for any delay or failure in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather conditions, supply chain delays or network outages.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
